Initially foreseen in Denver (Colorado), the Winter Game of 1976 took place in Innsbruck following the withdrawal, for political and economic reasons, following the American city. These Games, twelve years after the Austrian city has chosen first time, gave evidence of the important evolution arisen in numerous domains touching ice sports and Winter Game, notably in the relations of the sport with the money. |
