1948 London Summer

Welcome Day Sport Resuts Français
THE XIVth SUMMER GAMES

London was chosen for the 1948 Games for reasons similar to those that had chosen Antwerp in 1920: the desire to reward a heroic city. It was certainly a good feeling, although from an Olympic point of view it was quite debatable. According to the Olympic Charter, each organizer of the Games is required to make an official film. In London, in 1948, the Rank Corporation shot the first document in color.
